Overview of a combination drug therapy via EV. EV-based drug delivery systems offer distinct advantages in delivery, efficacy, and safety. Regarding efficacy, EV-mediated drug delivery overcomes drug resistance by utilizing alternative uptake mechanisms and enhances intracellular drug retention, resulting in prolonged anticancer effects.
