1. Aims and Scope

BMB Reports (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Reports) is an international journal covering general fields of biochemistry. Papers in English that describe significant contributions to biochemical knowledge are published bimonthly, including new results obtained experimentally, descriptions of new experimental methods of biochemical importance, or new interpretations of existing results. Theoretical contributions will also be considered.

BMB Reports (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Reports), formerly called Journal of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, is published by Korean Society for Biochemistry. The journal is covered in MEDLINE/PubMed, Index Medicus, Science Citation Index Expanded, Biochemistry-Biophysics Citation Index, Research Alert, and Chemical Abstracts.


2. Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted via an e-mail to the Society Office ( bmbreports@biochem.or.kr ) or three copies should be post-mailed to BMB Reports Editor-in-Chief, Korean Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Korea Science and Technology Center Room 801, 635-4 Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 135-703, Korea (tel: 82-2-508-7434~6, fax: 82-2-508-7578).

3. Copyright Information

Submission of a manuscript implies:

- that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review, or thesis);
- that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere;
- that its publication has been approved by all coauthors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities at the institute where the work has been carried out;
- that, if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agree to automatic transfer of the copyright to the publisher;
- that the manuscript will not be published elsewhere in any language without the consent of the copyright holders; and
